With its grand debut and pre-release at Gen Con 50, The Legend of the Five Rings: The Card Game is already among the most anticipated releases of 2017. Fantasy Flight Games is proud to bring the seven Great Clans, the Chrysanthemum Throne, and the contested lands of Rokugan to its Living Card Game® format, refreshing the game system and updating the lore for a new era.
To mark the occasion, FFG is hosting the Kiku Mitsuri, also known as The Chrysanthemum Festival, at Gen Con 50. Evidenced by the incredible response from old and new fans alike, the 700-person tournament stands to be the largest tournament of any FFG game ever, and among the largest in history for the Legend of the Five Rings. The festivities for the Kiku Matsuri will kick off at noon on Thursday, August 17 as the tournament begins, with an exciting opening ceremony held at 1 pm.
Additionally, you’ll be able to find plenty of demo games of Legend of the Five Rings: The Card Game at the Fantasy Flight Games booth in the main hall, as well as limited quantities on sale. You won’t want to miss out on this historic event at what is sure to be an historic Gen Con. Also, check out the complete line-up of Fantasy Flight Games events all Gen Con long. Banzai!
The Quiet Room Is Your Safe Space
Need to de-stress, de-compress, and re-group? Gen Con has just the place. Take a moment or linger, whatever you need. The room will be open Thursday – Saturday 10 am – 6 pm and Sunday 10 am – 3 pm.
A quiet zone will be immediately outside of the room where you can sit, rest, and seek some relief. This area will be open for the entire duration of the convention.
