Kickstarter at Gen Con 2016
Kickstarter, a Gen Con 2016 Event Partner, has a special message for you today.
“As you sit upon the promontory gazing out at the sea, thinking about your forthcoming summer journeys, a snake curls its way into your lap. It hisses, ‘Kickstarter will be at Gen Con 2016 in the Cards Against Humanity Hidey Hole.’ Nodding, you determine to visit this hidey hole and see what treasures lay within.
Later, in your tower, you consult your manuals of lore. The sages say that such hidey holes contain games and their creators. Ah-ha! What good fortune: You will test your wits against these rogues, knaves, and philosophers — and emerge the wiser for your efforts!
Yes, this shall be a fortuitous journey. So now, gather up your shield, your key, your potion and your sword. Much lies between you and Indianapolis — you will need every resource if you wish to make the journey intact!”

Help the Vonnegut Library Secure its New Home
The only museum in the world dedicated to championing the life and work of Kurt Vonnegut launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise $99,999 to secure its new, permanent home in Indianapolis. The Vonnegut Library’s current building, near the Indiana Convention Center, is for sale, and they need your help to continue hosting artists and thinkers from all backgrounds, supporting veterans, raising awareness about censorship, and offering tours of Vonnegut memorabilia to 15,000 visitors annually. This year, Gen Con will help sponsor the KVML’s Banned Books Week events.
