Q: How did you get permission to publish a Mad Libs game?
A: They approached us! The folks at Mad Libs had been looking for a game publishing partner for a while, and they got a great recommendation about us from our friends at Cartoon Network! So, having heard that we were not only brilliant at inventing games but also really easy to work with, they called us up and asked if we wanted to make a Mad Libs game! At first, I wasn’t sure I could, and I almost turned them down! But then I wised up. “I can’t pass on an opportunity like this,” I told myself, so I strapped on my thinking cap and hammered out a design that I think is actually pretty darn good. It’s kinda similar to a couple of other party games you might know, yet it’s also fresh and new, super-easy to learn and, of course, heaps of fun. Best of all, it feels true to the property. It’s Mad Libs: The Game!
