This reminds me of when Dungeons & Dragons did the Mystra Campaign setting. I have one adventure where it plays the voices of NPCs and all the sound effects.
SYRINSCAPE LAUNCHES IN HELL’S BRIGHT SHADOW FOR THE NEW PATHFINDER ADVENTURE PATH HELL’S REBELS
Just in Time for the Kick-Off of the New Pathfinder RPG Adventure, Syrinscape Delivers an Accompanying SoundPack to Bring the Forces of Darkness and an Underground Rebellion to Life
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA (August 26, 2015) – Syrinscape, the award-winning app that puts the power of custom, movie-like sound effects, soundscapes, and music, into the hands of the gamer, announces today the release of the In Hell’s Bright Shadow SoundPack for the Syrinscape Fantasy Player app.
In Hell’s Bright Shadow, the first module in Hell’s Rebels, the new 6-month Adventure Path for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, finds the city of Kintargo, which has long been a safe haven for artists, freethinkers, and those marginalized by the oppressive Chelish government, has been placed under martial law by inquisitor Barzillai Thrune. When a protest turns into a riot, a new group of heroes comes together to form an organized resistance against the devil-binding government and the church of Asmodeus. Can they survive long enough to establish allies, or will they become the latest victims of the Thrice-Damned House of Thrune?
With the In Hell’s Bright Shadow SoundPack from Syrinscape, players will experience a brand new Pathfinder Adventure Path like never before with fantastic sounds custom-made for the adventure, including:
An intense city protest, riot, and battle sequence
Zombies and skeletons
A super-evil female half-devil villain
Frustratingly gleeful gremlins
A battle with an alligator in a rebel alliance sewer hideout
Rodents of unusual size, feral dogs, disgusting lemures, and so much more!
In Hell’s Bright Shadow also includes sound samples from Pathfinder fans and players, recorded at both Gen Con 2015, and PaizoCon 2015.
“It’s the first time we’ve been able to launch a new SoundPack at the same time Paizo kicks off a new Adventure Path, which gives players an awesome opportunity to experience the new AP with sound from the get-go,” says Benjamin Loomes, creator of Syrinscape. “Also, In Hell’s Bright Shadow includes sounds we recorded live with Pathfinder players at the summer conventions. I’d like to thank everyone for their spectacular, and slightly disturbing, contributions!”
