This looks sick and twisted, but I’m sure some people will love it. It also looks like someone saw Rhino Hero by Haba.
CAT TOWER IS AVAILABLE ON KICKSTARTER!
BACK THE NEW STACKING GAME THAT REQUIRES FELINE-LIKE DEXTERITY
San Diego, CA (August 18, 2015) –Today marks the launch of IDW Games and Pandasaurus’ official Kickstarter for Cat Tower. Cat Tower is a lethally cute, dexterity-based, paper-craft cat stacking game by Taiwanese designer, Aza Chen. The uproarious player interaction and unique, unwieldy cat components make Cat Tower an instant obsession for anyone who plays it.
“Upon first look, we fell madly, deeply in love with Cat Tower,” said Molly Wardlaw of Pandasaurus Games. “We knew everyone that got ahold of it would feel the same. It was just a matter of how to explain the zany, gleeful experience that the game creates. After an overwhelmingly positive reaction at Gen Con, we knew Kickstarter was the answer. A virtual way to see it to believe it.”
The object of Cat Tower is to rid yourself of all the cats in a your hand by stacking each cat in various, precarious positions based on die roll, which determines how you stack your cat onto the central tower (or how many cats you may stack).Adding to the fun are special “Fatty Catty” cards, which bring about spontaneous changes in game play.
“Cat Tower has to be the most unique game we’ve ever seen,” said IDW’s Director of Business Development, Jerry Bennington, “It’s hilarious, incredibly portable, and fun for kids and adults. Because it’s such a one-of-a-kind game, we think Kickstarter is the perfect vehicle to show it to the fans. Over the next few weeks, we can show off the game, answer questions, and have a direct conversation about what makes this product so special.”
The Cat Tower Kickstarter is live now! To find out more about the game you can visit http://idwgames.com/cat-tower, or follow IDW Games on facebook and twitter.
