One Week to Go
It’s almost here. Months of preparation and anticipation soon will give way to the ultimate gaming experience – Gen Con 2015! With more exhibitors, events, and entertainment than ever before, Gen Con 2015 truly will be the Best Four Days of Gaming™.
Experiencing all that Gen Con has to offer can take a lot out of a body, so make sure to stay hydrated, get enough sleep, and find your meals in between games. Take advantage of the numerous ways Gen Con offers to take care of yourself and your family while enjoying your time, including:
The Quiet Room– Found in Room 237 of the convention center, the Quiet Room is a self-monitored area where you can de-stress, decompress, and regroup. The Quiet Room will remain open Thursday through Saturday, 8 am – 8 pm and Sunday, 8 am – 4 pm. Note: The Quiet Room is not intended for sleeping, but instead for taking a moment of relief from the energy of the convention.
Nursing Areas– Mothers, are you interested in a relaxing, private place to feed your child? A private area is located in the back of the Training Grounds area of the Exhibit Hall and and private nursing station lounge chairs can be found in the women’s restroom in the Crossroads Concourse.
On-site Spa– Feeling tense? Let Enroute Spa help work it out. Their Gen Con menu centers upon chair massage, the most convenient and effective way to deliver wellness in a public setting. Chair massage includes manipulating muscles of the head, neck, back, arms, and hands to bring relaxation and better focus to gamers. You can find them in the Crossroads Concourse.

There are events and systems for everyone, including the most casual players and the fiercest eSports competitors.
The eBash Gaming Zone, found in rooms 140-142, is 50% larger than last year! Doors open at 8 am daily and will stay open until 1-2 am, or even later!
Featured games this year include: League of Legends (PC), Hearthstone (PC), Super Smash Brothers (Wii U), Minecraft (PC), Call of Duty (PS4), Halo 2 MCC (Xbox One), Heroes of the Storm (PC), Visions of Zosimos (PC), Dirt 2 (Custom Racing Simulators), DOTA 2 (PC), Smite (PC), and The Heroes of Newerth (PC)

Activision, a new eBash sponsor this year, will have some great Razer gear as prizes for players, along with copies of Heroes of the Storm that include unique character skins and mounts not purchasable in-game. Promo codes for unique convention skins for Smite and Heroes of Newerth will be distributed, along with other surprise giveaways!
Important Info for New and Returning Gamers
Lines at the eBash Gaming Zone can get long for those waiting to play by the hour or to join a tournament with generic tickets. Purchasing a specific event ticket before you visit is a fast way to skip the line! For example, if you want to play Minecraft on their custom servers, just purchase a 4 pm Minecraft Hourly event ticket and come right to the front of the line at 4 pm to start playing!
Wii U Super Smash Brothers Amiibo FFA Tournament
Come test your Amiibo in eBash’s Smash Bros tournament! These real-life figures can be synchronized with Wii U Super Smash Brothers and then trained to fight for you.
Players will be divided randomly into pools of four and then synchronize their Amiibo with the Wii U system. Standard tournament rules apply and the last Amiibo standing advances to the next round.
When the dust settles, the 1st place Amiibo wins a Gen Con 2015 Championship trophy and 2nd place wins a Gen Con 2015 Championship medal. Do you think the Amiibos will share the prize with their trainers?
