Gaming with Rio Grande Games
Love Rio Grande Games? Visit their room(#234-236) during Gen Con to play old favorites like Dominion, Race for the Galaxy, Roll for the Galaxy (well, not really that old, but fast becoming a favorite), Bohnanza, Puerto Rico, Power Grid, Tikal, and for the kids: Monster Factory, Viva Topo, and Chicken Cha Cha Cha. They also will have several new and recent releases: Mogul, Dominion: Adventures, 20th Century Limited, Rattlebones, Arctic Scavengers with Recon (reprinted with an added expansion), and several additions to the Bohnanza line including Princes & Pirates, Ladies & Gangsters, HighBohn, and Bohnaparte – plus My First Bohnanza for young players.
The Rio Grande Games room will be open Thursday through Saturday from 10 am until closing. As always, there is no cost to play, and they offer snacks and drinks from time-to-time, so stop on by!
As in previous years, Rio Grande Games is hosting the World Dominion Championship with players from several countries competing for a $1000 prize. While the preliminary qualifying rounds running Thursday through Saturday are sold out, no-shows are not uncommon and eager players may have the opportunity to enter using generic tickets.
The Best Designer D6s the World has Ever Seen
The folks at Dexter’s Dice are making the dice people always knew they wanted, but could never find, and they need your help to do it!
The Awesome Dice Project began when their roleplaying group tried to find some specialty D6s for one of their favorite roleplaying games. After fruitlessly looking, they decided to make their own. With a little help from Kickstarter, their dreams of making some truly great dice are almost a reality.
They are producing five different styles of dice, each based off a different theme. The themes cover subjects ranging from magic to cyberpunk. Using images of spirits, hackers, drones, and even social media, these dice will add immersion and fun to any gaming experience. If you love dice, bring these beautiful designs to your table.

The donation process takes less than an hour and most people are eligible to donate with very few causes for deferral and very few medications that are not acceptable.

The Indiana Blood Center blood mobile will be onsite Friday and Saturday (located in the Maryland Street Motor Lobby).
