A long time ago — nearly two years — we first saw Brian Suhre’s Paradox. Sometime during this long journey, you have seen it as well, and it sounds like you fell in love with the design, the art, and/or the mechanisms as much as we did. We’re proud to announce that Paradox will launch on Kickstarter this Friday, June 26 at around 9am Central Standard Time.
Thank you so much for your patience and your support. The extra time we spent on Paradox over the past year paid off in spades. Audiences understand the streamlined Research Goals of the Category 3 Quake much clearer than the original advanced ruleset, and in the process we were able to stay true to Brian’s original intent. The new art is nearly complete with a few surprises still to come. And we’ve developed a number of alternate Scenarios that can slot into the core game, providing new challenges with minimal rule changes. You would have enjoyed the version we showcased at Origins 2014; you’re going to love this version.
