With a little more than a month to go, Gen Con 2015 Badge Pre-Registration has ended and fulfillment has begun!Over the next few weeks, Gen Con will send out all orders for those who chose “Ship to Me” as their packet pick-up option. If you have selected Will Call pick-up for Gen Con 2015, please remember to bring your government-issued photo ID to the convention. You will need it to pick-up your packets on site.

here after logging into your Gen Con account and also will be available onsite. Remember: you can skip Badge Registration on-site, and pick-up your badge via 24-hour Will Call if you purchase it from gencon.com.

The five factions now seek bold adventurers willing to brave death to draw attention away from Szith Morcane, and in so doing allow a small group to infiltrate the drow outpost. What role will you play in this deadly game?!

Hero Jr. Set to Rock Georgia Street
Gen Con is pleased to welcome Indianapolis rockers Hero Jr. back home for the Georgia Street celebration! They’ll set the stage for the official tapping of Sun King Brewing’s Gen Con 2015 beer- Drink On and Prosper Ale- from 6-10 pm on Wednesday, July 29.
Critically acclaimed, Hero Jr. writes, produces, and records music which is hailed as the best of vintage meets modern rock. They offer no-strings-attached free mp3 downloads of their tunes. According to Hero Jr., “we are still a ‘new’ band so concertgoers should be able to ‘test drive us’…if you are a fan of classic and song-oriented rock we think you will join our family.” You can download their latest albums here.
Beat The Summer Heat With GO Express Travel
Reservations are now live for the 2015 Gen Con Shuttle! If you’re staying at the suburban block hotels, you can take the shuttle to and from the convention center at select times. The shuttle service has changed this year to support one-way trips, allowing riders a guaranteed spot on a shuttle. A map with shuttle route service and hotel “campuses” is available by clicking here. Additional routes may be added, based on demand.
Ticket prices are $6 for a one way trip or $12 for a round trip. You will be emailed a confirmation for each reservation you make; this is your ticket. If you do not receive your email confirmation, please check your email’s spam folder. When you’re ready to ride, please print each confirmation and have it ready to provide to your driver. Please note that drivers cannot accept cash.
Last Friday, Gen Con announced its second Media Guest of Honor for 2015, Summer Glau. Summer Glau is an actress best known for for her iconic characters River Tam in Joss Whedon’s TV series Firefly and the feature film, Serenity, and Cameron Philips in Terminator:The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Summer got her start in Joss Whedon’s highly acclaimed TV series Angel, playing a cursed ballerina. Most recently, she made an impressive guest appearance on the television series Alphas.
Ms. Glau will participate in autograph signings and photo ops at the following times in the Autograph Area of the Exhibit Hall (behind the Art Show and Authors’ Avenue).
